Position Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at RewireInHope LLC, you support resident care through essential tasks. You assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. You monitor residents' health by measuring vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare professionals. Your compassionate approach builds trust with residents, enhancing their comfort. You also promote mental health through social and recreational activities. Maintaining safety standards and a clean environment is crucial to ensuring safe care. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you share observations that shape care plans. Your dedication as a CNA improves residents' quality of life and embodies RewireInHope LLC's mission of exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Resident Care

  • Assist residents with their activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

  • Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders as directed.

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and ensure residents' physical and emotional comfort.

2. Health Monitoring

  • Regularly assess and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.

  • Report any changes in residents' health status promptly to the Nursing Supervisor or designated healthcare professional.

  • Document care provided accurately and maintain up-to-date resident records.

3. Communication and Collaboration

  • Maintain open and effective communication with residents, their families, and other healthcare team members.

  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care.

  • Attend team meetings and contribute insights to enhance overall care quality.

4. Safety and Comfort

  • Implement safety measures to create a secure environment for residents.

  • Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.

  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized living space for residents.

5. Professional Development

  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and stay informed about industry best practices.

  • Stay current on relevant regulations and guidelines governing CNAs in the healthcare sector.

6. Adherence to Policies and Procedures

  • Follow established policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Report any incidents, accidents, or deviations from care plans promptly.

Requirements             

  • Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.

  • Current CNA certification and in good standing with the state licensing board.

  • CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Pay Range: $18/hr - $21/hr
